One of the world's leading enterprise processing platform vendors for the financial services industry are looking for a Lead Developer to join their team as they embark on a strategic, decade long system development programme that will transform the Cards and Payments space. This high growth and award-winning firm employs over 30,000 people in over 100 countries and has revenues in excess of $5bn.

They are looking for Lead Developer/Engineer with ‘hands on’ skills in Java, Cloud, Microservices technologies to join their UK team.

Suitable Development professionals will have a mixture of the following skills and experience:

• Java
• Microservices & APIs
• Kafka
• Cloud (any Cloud platform – AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP etc.)
• Containerisation & Kubernetes
• React/Angular (desirable)
• Event Based development
• Design Thinking

• Previous domain exp. in Payments, Cards, Loans, Transactions or Financial Services is desirable
• Ability to design and develop highly scalable complex software solutions
• Plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle

• Good understanding of design patterns and relevant implementation models
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong academic background (BSc/MSc/PhD)
